Thailand Blocks Over 55,000 Gambling-Related Online Addresses
Felix VogelJuly 26, 2026
Thai authorities have blocked more than 55,000 internet addresses linked to online gambling platforms within a single month. The measure forms part of the country’s ongoing enforcement campaign against unauthorized digital betting services.
The filtered addresses include domain names and IP ranges associated with international and local betting operators. Network providers implemented the restrictions following directives from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. The initiative targets unlicensed platforms that operate outside the national regulatory framework.
Scope of the Restriction
The filtering system operates at the infrastructure level, preventing access to identified gambling sites across major telecommunications networks. Authorities continue to monitor traffic patterns to identify newly registered domains. The current blocklist represents the largest single-month update to the national gambling filter since the program launched. The data originates from igamingtoday.com.
