Spelinspektionen has updated Spelpaus, the centralized self-exclusion platform for Swedish gambling, to include a new 10-day break option. The provision enables players to temporarily suspend their accounts with all licensed operators before selecting longer exclusion periods.

The regulatory adjustment expands the current account management framework by adding a short-term pause mechanism. Consumers can now activate a ten-day suspension directly through the system interface. Spelinspektionen introduced the feature to increase flexibility in player self-regulation tools.

All Swedish gambling providers must integrate the break function into their account settings.
