Accel Entertainment has appointed Stan Guidroz as its new chief operating officer, effective immediately. The leadership change coincides with Mark Phelan's transition to the role of chief executive officer in August 2026.
Guidroz previously served as the CEO of Toucan Gaming, a subsidiary of Accel. He will now oversee broader operational leadership across the entire organization. Mark Phelan will continue his duties as president while assuming the CEO title next month.
Executive Leadership Transition
Andy Rubenstein, chairman and CEO of Accel Entertainment, stated that the promotion reflects Guidroz's track record and contributions to the company's growth. He noted that Guidroz established Toucan Gaming as a model for disciplined expansion within the market.
Phelan indicated that he intends to collaborate closely with Guidroz during the transition. He highlighted that Guidroz's industry experience will support the execution of the company's strategic roadmap and long-term value delivery.
